Designing and creating handmade goods is my work and passion.  As a self-taught designer, I have been involved in various forms of design for over 30 years. My early design experience involved manufacturing socially-responsible

clothing and outdoor gear, a combination of my love of nature and my need to create.

After numerous business ventures and design projects, I spent 12 years in graphic

design and corporate branding. Longing for a more creative work that involved a hands-on

approach and a lifelong desire to build, I designed and built a contemporary

home filled with concrete and wood accents. Through this experience, I started

building contemporary furniture using unconventional materials. I attribute my

success in furniture building to my design skills from previous experiences, an

uninfluenced self-taught approach, and a passion to push material boundaries.

Nothing lasting is achieved without a sense and understanding of design. This is

evident in the clean lines and visual flow of each piece. My furniture has its own

signature, as no two pieces are alike due to the nature of my craft. My pieces are often

described as functional art.
